Disney Tea Set

Tips On Buying A Disney Tea Set Online

There are many online retail sites that sell Disney tea sets; in fact, all large supermarkets and toy stores now also have online sites and often have special online only deals.  The cost of the Disney tea set depends on how large or small the set is, whether it is made from porcelain or plastic, and what site you buy it from.

The exact kind of tea set you buy would most likely depend on what particular Disney character is your daughter’s favorite.  There are ones with one or more Disney princess, Tinker Bell, fairies, Ariel and Winnie the Pooh, to name just a few options.

Other popular characters on tea sets include the non-Disney cartoon characters Dora the Explorer and Barbie.  The actual character on the tea set has no bearing on the price although often tea sets featuring well-known cartoon characters cost more than ones featuring designs that are more generic.

When choosing a tea set, you would first want to keep in mind the age of the child.  Plastic tea sets are the best option for younger children.  Once children are a bit older, you could consider a porcelain set but you would need to be sure that the child is responsible enough to handle it with care.

A few online retail sites that have a good selection are Amazon.com and Toys R Us online retail sites.  You can buy a smaller plastic set that includes a teapot, two saucers and two cups for only $5.00.  If you want something a bit more elaborate, such as the Disney Princess Tea Party Play Set or the Disney Princess Tea Party Play Set, you would need to pay a bit more, but they are not expensive; the sets mentioned above cost $8.00 and $15.00 respectively.

Porcelain sets often cost more than plastic ones but there are a couple of online sites that sell some quite cheap.  ICtoys and Bo Toys and Gifts.com are good sites to check out as they have some affordable options.  While other online retail sites charge in the range of $20.00 - $30.00 for a larger porcelain tea set, the above mentioned sites are both selling sets for a bit under $10.00.

When buying a Disney tea set online, no matter what site you buy it from, you should check whether the site offers free shipping or if you need to pay above the listed price for this.  Also, note the retail site's policy regarding returns and refunds should you need to return or exchange the set for any reason.
